Purple Magnolia Gm Flute
Being from the South and having fond memories of the Magnolias that grew around my Grandmother's home in Nacogdoches, Texas, I just couldn't resist purchasing this wood a few years ago. No, it doesn't smell like the Magnolia flowers, but it does have a very nice tone. There are a few bug holes that have been filled with epoxy. The color is naturally purple and yellowish tan. This flute has a big voice. If you find yourself in a canyon, you'll get plenty of feedback from your natural surroundings. I have a feeling this flute will go quickly. ;-)
