Madera Sangria
Solo played on a Bloodwood Flute
The name "Madera Sangria" means Bloodwood in Spanish. This flute is one of my early creations made with Bloodwood. I stopped using this wood because it has an annoying habit of cracking. This flute has several cracks in the Slow Air Chamber, which has no effect on the sound. However, after it's been played for a long time, the water that condenses inside starts to "spit" out of the cracks. For this reason, the flute is mine and always will be.
