1st: G-minor Ambrosia Maple Inlaid Drone
The flute above is in the key of G-minor (Gm) Pentatonic (sometimes called the Native American ) scale. The wood is Ambrosia Maple, so called because the Ambrosia Beetle has been munching away at the wood, leaving holes where he cultivates a fungus that he subsists on. This is why the wood has all these random streaks. I have filled the holes with crushed turquoise and inlaid some strips down the top.
