The flute above is in the key of G-minor (Gm) Pentatonic (sometimes called the Native American ) scale. The wood is Bubinga with Tiger Maple and Turquoise accents. This flute has a nice big sound. Since Bubinga is the hardest, heaviest wood that I use, this puppy carries a fair amount of heft. She weighs in right at two pounds. It's a lotta flute, but along with that comes a lot of character.
